You are a powerful creator. Your thoughts and words create. Everyday, with every thought we are creating. The pen is mightier than the sword. Our powerful, potent inner and outer voices can open worlds of possibilities or write us into the prisons of our own mind. If we have something on our hearts and we don’t get it out, it begins to gnaw at us, then eat at us and it will eventually consume us, as creation turns in on itself, with no other place to go.

In the Christian Bible, we are shown the metaphysical power of our voice to create in the scripture, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” — John 1:1, NIV. Often, we cannot see what we WANT to create, because of the necessary time-lag, a blessing for untrained minds. For if not for this grace, many of us would create all kinds of imaginary traumas and nightmares. As we clarify and purify our emotions, thoughts and words, as we find more inner peace and access to stillness, our voice becomes more powerful… our ability to create, more potent.

ASK YOURSELF: How can I use my voice for good and express my truth with clarity and ease? How can I release the lies I tell myself and the illusions I tolerate? (… don’t try to answer it consciously. Let it hang in the air.)

TIPS:
+ Get it out. In a sacred and purposeful way, write letters to people, organizations or institutions to get it off your chest. DO NOT SEND.
You may need to write several to the same person until you feel complete. When there…BURN THE LETTERS and WATCH THEM BURN. Bury the ashes or give
them to a river or stream (ask permission first).
+ Sing your affirmations. Have fun with it. Be silly.
+ Listen to someone FULLY. Give them, and yourself, the gift of your full silent
presence.
